Our Services

PALS personnel offer unmatched expertise in behavioral intervention, consultation, parent training, and professional development training.

Early and Comprehensive ABA

Decades of research (1-8) have proven that preschool-age children make significantly greater gains with early and intensive behavioral therapy (EIBT) than with any other form of treatment available , and PALS staff are EIBT experts.

Every child’s program is individualized to address multiple skill areas, including: communication, self-help skills, preschool integration, peer socialization, community skills, safety skills, self-advocacy skills and the reduction of maladaptive behaviors.

Services are provided in children’s real-world environments, including their homes, preschools, grocery stores, parks and peers’ homes.

Peer Socialization Groups PALS Game Club

Kids and teens play games with peers, to learn and practice social skills. Players’ treatment goals are individualized to address a broad range of skills, including perspective taking, assertiveness, using body language and nonverbal communication, working collaboratively in groups.

Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBI)

Naturalistic behavioral interventions focus on building skills through child-selected, intrinsically-rewarding activities and materials. Naturalistic interventions can be used as components of comprehensive programs, or can be used independently to work on building specific skills.

Focused Behavioral Interventions

For children and young adults who need help with specific behavior issues, PALS offers short-term, focused interventions. We can help with aggression, self-help and hygiene skills, social skills, job skills, assertiveness and personal advocacy skills, and many more.

Independent Behavioral Evaluation

PALS offers expert independent behavioral evaluations for families, school districts and funding agencies. Evaluations can range from functional behavior assessments (FBAs) that address specific problem behaviors, to overall reviews of children’s current behavioral support services and needs.

Professional Staff Development

Training and education services can be customized for both large groups and individual clinical support teams.
